Lured from the Dustbowls of Kansas, naive newlyweds, Aaron and Emily, head to Chicago with humble ambitions, but the Great Depression has crippled the metropolis. Unable to secure honest employment, Aaron is drawn into Marco 'Polo' Russi's bootlegging enterprise, who is in a fierce Beer War. And the city is being terrorized by a VAMPIRE, the press has dubbed 'The Cut-Throat of Chi-Town'. What are Aaron and Emily willing to sacrifice to survive the hardships of an unforgiving city, ruthless gangsters, and a vagabond bloodsucker.
BITTERSWEET VOWS is a fantasy-crime-drama that mashes up VAMPIRES, MOBSTERS, and ROMANCE. A fresh and captivating take on old genres brought to you by Alex Scherkenbach (Sweet Lullaby) and Gustavo Novaes (A Cabana).
