Birds of Paradise - Paperback

by Cedar G. Elkheart (Author)

In the canyon country of Moab, Utah, a mysterious and greedy luxury resort nestles in the shadow of formidable mesas. Here, a guide and his friends set out to unravel the bleeding heart conspiracy of this valley; where have the disappeared gone to? And, where has this money come from?

The owner comes from old money, this much is clear. But at the Maroon Mesa Resort: Where Sandstone Meets Serenity, much more is in jeopardy than ill-gotten fortunes. Human lives and priceless works of art are at stake when friends attempt to fight injustice with unprecedented tactics. Join as they attempt to break free of their student loan debt and enslavement to capitalism in a daring heist.

Religious sects play key roles in thrones of power, manipulating the press and the public like marionettes on strings. Nobody works alone. Nobody is safe.

Through torrents of whitewater, treacherous climbs, and unfathomable odds, a group of friends are wanted dead or alive for their role in a societal sedition. They must rely on one another to make it out of this desert alive.
