Author Biography
Rudolfo Anaya (1937-2020) was widely acclaimed as one of the founders of modern Chicano literature. He was a professor emeritus of English at the University of New Mexico and was best known for the classic Bless Me, Ultima.
Francisco A. Lomelí is a professor emeritus of Chicana/o studies and Spanish and Portuguese at UC-Santa Barbara. He is the author, coauthor, and coeditor of forty books, including a landmark translation of Alejandro Morales' Barrio on the Edge and Aztlán: Essays on the Chicano Homeland (UNM Press). Enrique R. Lamadrid is a distinguished professor emeritus of Spanish at the University of New Mexico. He is the editor of the Querencias Series at the University of New Mexico Press.Care
