Julia Everheart grew up on Hatteras Island, NC. She is a graduate of Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC and resides in Kennesaw, GA with her husband, two children, two horses, three dogs, two hamsters and two guinea pigs. She hopes her books inspire a love of reading and of the natural world, especially the beautiful Outer Banks.
