Author Biography
Pete Battistini, a fan of Top 40 radio since the 1960's, became enraptured with American Top 40 while in high school. Like millions of AT40 listeners, Casey Kasem's countdown became a weekend habit for Battistini.
And that led to a personal collection of American Top 40 programs and material, much of which was used for this book as well as his first one, "American Top 40 with Casey Kasem (The 1970's)."
