John L. Thompson is Professor Emeritus of Historical Theology and Gaylen and Susan Byker Professor Emeritus of Reformed Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. He is the author of Writing the Wrongs (2001) and Reading the Bible with the Dead (2007).
