What do you want to be when you grow up? How about a TEACHER?
A Teacher, That's Me! explores the typical day of a teacher as a young girl dreams about what she wants to be when she grows up. With her dog Max by her side, her dream is filled with the wonderment and excitement that can only be found in a child's imagination. From welcoming her students to saying goodbye at the end of the day, being a teacher is exactly what she wants to be.
A Teacher, That's Me! is a fun, easy-to-read rhythmic story written for early readers, their parents, and educators of young children. Through rhyme and illustration, A Teacher, That's Me! sparks the imagination and aids parents and educators in conveying what teachers do in a way that children can easily understand. In addition, A Teacher, That's Me! can be a useful tool in preparing young children for their initial school experience.
A Teacher, That's Me! is the first book in the "When I Grow Up" series. Be on the lookout for A Fireman, That's Me!, An Engineer, That's Me!, and many others that will inspire and encourage young children to dream about their future. It's never too early to begin dreaming!
