In this compilation of stories, it is revealed that a parallel universe inhabits the streets of Bogotá, the same one that hides behind the shadows that cover the city every morning, when the sky is already blue, but the sun is still hidden behind the mountains. Bogotá survives on the edge of light and finds itself on the brink of the abyss, where the sinister, the paranormal, and the everyday mix and mercilessly stalk its inhabitants.

Author Biography

Simón Vargas, artista colombiano nacido el 24 de octubre de 1993 en Bogotá, es conocido por su papel como cantante y bajista en la banda de éxito internacional Morat, en la que también participa como percu rsionista su hermano Martín Vargas. Vargas decide explorar su lado más creativo y escribe, a la vez que ilustra, A la orilla de la luz, un libro de cuentos ilustrados formado por trece relatos ambientados en Bogotá, la ciudad que le vio crecer.
