Tara Michener has a degree in Journalism and PR. She is the author of the "Who I Am" series and a speaker/workshop leader. She lives in Novi, Michigan with her husband Jason who is also the illustrator for "100% Real". She loves to visit schools and teach young people how to make writing fun using their creativity as their guide. She enjoys traveling, working with the youth at her church and partnering with local charities. Her favorite snack is Twizzlers. She is currently working on more books for kids and teens.
