You don't know what you are getting into until you get there. Every call is different. I have the greatest respect for police and firefighters because I have been there, done that, and seen death many ways. But I saved a few lives along the way. I think I did my part in life.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis book is dedicated to my wife, children, and grandchildren whom I love all dearly. I am now eighty years old. I took fifty-five years of memories and tried to put in writing the worst of calls to the best of my knowledge, way over ten thousand calls.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMy wife kept asking when I was going to write a book. I lost three years being her caregiver. I faced death in many ways, and they were all hard to take but nowhere near the death of my wife of fifty-six years. I finally got a chance to complete her wish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI would also like to thank family and friends for all the help through the hard times. She passed on Mother's Day, May 11, 2025, after a downhill struggle with cancer for three years.
